is a full-service established in 2009 laboratory specialized in crowns, bridges, implants, dentures and partial frames. Now with the 3shape D2000 scanner and the VHF S1 and S2 milling machines, our qualified team are designing and milling in-house, therefore reducing turn-around time and eliminate the need to outsource jobs. We are a boutique dental lab that focuses on innovation and technology to produce the best possible product for our clients at an affordable and competitive price.

The Mission of A2 Dental Laboratory is to support client dentists in their endeavours to improve and change the lives of their dental patients through the fabrication and provision of exceptional dental prosthetic solutions. PFM Crowns

Monolithic Zirconia is the new generation of crown and bridge porcelain restorations. These crowns are milled from solid blocks of zirconia and are sintered over 1500 degrees celsius and are near unbreakable. Designed using state of the art CAD/CAM technology the 100% monolithic zirconia crown offers a great alternative to that of posterior PFM, laminated zirconia and gold crowns. They require limited preparation design whilst still providing a more aesthetic pleasing result.

IPS e.max® is an innovative lithium disilicate glass – ceramic. It’s an all ceramic restoration that is highly aesthetic. The IPS e.max® material offers wonderful opportunities for the fabrication of lifelike restorations that delivers reliable, long term results. The material is highly translucent and is very versatile as it can be used on many different types of restorations such as inlays, onlays, veneers and crowns.

Designed using state of the art CAD/CAM technology the IPS e.max® material is resin printed and then pressed in a monolithic form. IPS e.max® offers an extraordinary combination of both strength and aesthetics. Because IPS e.max® is a monolithic restoration it elimates the need for framework and therefore offers a limited preparation requirement and no risk of delaminating of porcelain.

In VITA Enamic Crown, the dominant ceramic network is strengthened by a polymer network, with both networks fully integrated with one another. In addition to a high degree of elasticity, this innovative hybrid ceramic guarantees particularly high load capacity after adhesive bonding.

VITA Suprinity is a new generation of a CAD/CAM glass-ceramic material which is enriched with zirconia (approx. 10% by weight). It is the first zirconia reinforced lithium silicate ceramic (ZLS) by  VITA in a precrystallized state.

Gold crowns have traditionally been used in the dental industry for many years. Gold crowns can be used for many restorations such as crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and can consist of either non-precious or precious gold alloys. The NPG restorations are milled while Precious gold crowns are resin printed using state of the art CAD/CAM technology offering optimum accuracy of fit.

The key attribute of a gold crown is its longevity, on average, crowns made with gold can sometimes last nearly 20 years and never fracture like porcelain. The preparation required for a gold crown is the simplest and least complicated preparation as there is minimal tooth structure removal. One of the significant advantages of gold is the relative smoothness of the material creating a natural cleanliness limiting bacteria. Gold crowns as a material is also very gentle to the opposing teeth (similar to natural teeth) as opposed to porcelain restorations. Over the long haul this can prevent other significant problems; including back of bite collapse and TMJ problems.

Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal (PFM) Crowns and bridges are widely used as the restorations offer strength, aesthetics, marginal integrity, predictability and excellent value for money.

A wide range of alloys are now available to suit every possible case scenario. Hypersensitive or allergic patients can have the choice of Titanium, Nickel and Beryllium-free or noble or high-noble alloy copings.
